Egypt threatens US: We will review our treaty with Israel

The US has recently threatened Egypt with cutting off the billions of dollars of aid that goes to the Arab country each year because of the Americans that are being held in the country. In response, the majority party of Islamists have threatened to end the peace treaty with Israel should US aid be cut.

Israel goes abroad and gives gift of sight to 2,000

“Israeli doctors have recently restored the eyesight of more than 2,000 people in seven countries: Nepal, Myanmar, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Cambodia, the Maldives and Ethiopia.”

The doctors go abroad and give free eye surgeries to people in the developing world. They also teach their doctors how to give these eye surgeries and train them in the use of new technologies to better help their people. 

Israel to provide aid to Chile after forest fire

“A statement put out Tuesday by the Foreign Ministry said Israel expressed ‘solidarity with the Chilean people in its sorrow for the damage’ caused to the park, located in southern Chile. ‘Israel has also experienced a similar disaster last year in the Carmel forest, and that painful memory enhances our sense of common destiny,’ the statement said, noting “the deep friendship the Israeli people feel toward Chile is as strong as ever.’”

IsraAID sends aid to South Sudan, Kenya, Haiti

“IsraAID has sent three different delegations to support its missions in Kenya (famine relief), South Sudan (supporting a rape victim shelter) and Haiti (medical, social and agriculture programs).”
