The alliance includes Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. It would create a “single entity” or “super-state.” This alliance has already flexed its muscles to counter Iran by leading the call within the Arab League to sanction Syria, Iran’s satellite state.

Jordan’s King Abdullah is scheduled to visit Ramallah on Monday for talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Ynet reported. Plans for the surprising visit were made public Sunday night following the arrival of a Jordanian delegation to the West Bank city.
